APAC Project

The APAC Project is an organization of pharmaceutical associations dealing with innovative new drugs from 12 regions in Asia that plays a leading role in the operation of APAC (Asia Partnership Conference of Pharmaceutical Associations), whose mission is to "bring new and innovative drugs to the people of Asia as quickly as possible".

APAC stands for the Asia Partnership Conference of Pharmaceutical Associations.
APAC was established in 2012 at the initiative of the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) by 14 research based pharmaceutical associations from 12 Asian regions that are members of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA). Its mission is “Enhancing access to innovative medicines for the people in Asia”. APAC currently operates four working groups and two task forces, and their achievements are reviewed and consolidated at an annual conference. APAC is unique in that it brings together not only industry representatives, but also regulators and academia, fostering constructive dialogue that transcends individual perspectives in order to advance its mission.
