APAC Project

The APAC Project is a consortium of pharmaceutical associations dealing with innovative new medicines from 12 regions in Asia that plays a leading role in the operation of the Asia Partnership Conference of Pharmaceutical Associations (APAC), whose mission is to "bring innovative new medicines to the people of Asia as quickly as possible.

APAC stands for Asia Partnership Conference of Pharmaceutical Associations.
APAC was formed in 2012 at the initiative of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) by 14 research-based pharmaceutical associations from 12 regions in Asia that are members of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA) with the mission of "bringing innovative medicines to the people of Asia in a timely manner. APAC currently has four working groups and two task forces, which meet once a year to review the results of their activities. APAC is unique in that it brings together not only industry, but also regulators and academia to engage in constructive discussions that transcend their respective positions in order to realize its mission.
