We are looking for a catchphrase that expresses
that the pharmaceutical industry is an innovative industry!
The Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) is an association of 69 R&D-oriented pharmaceutical companies.
When you hear the word "pharmaceutical company," you may think of medicines for colds and wounds.
But in fact, these are just a few of the drugs that pharmaceutical companies are working on, They mainly research, develop, and manufacture drugs used in hospitals, including those for the treatment of intractable diseases.
Japan ranks 6th in the world in new drug creation , but the probability of creating a new drug is only about 1 in 30,000.
It takes many years and a lot of money to create a new drug.
Yet, the pharmaceutical industry continues to take on challenges using cutting-edge science, including the use of data, digital and AI to create new medicines and deliver them to patients around the world as quickly as possible.
We hope you will feel the attitude of the pharmaceutical industry, which continues to take on new challenges.
We hope that you will express in your own words and perspectives the passion, spirit of exploration, and excitement for opening up the future that lies at the root of drug creation.

When you think of a catchphrase, for example, the following ideas may come to mind if you change your point of view.
- What would the world be like if there were no medicine? Think about what the world would be like
- If medicine could talk, What would we talk about if drugs could talk?
- Try to name the drug 10 years from now
- If you were to give the pharmaceutical industry a new name, what industry would it be?
- Medicine, Think of it as a hero that saves people What tagline?
These are just examples of ideas. Please be flexible and think more broadly.

The future goals of the pharmaceutical industry were announced in February 2025 in the form of "Industry Vision 2035" .
Ten years from now, when you, the junior and senior high school students, have grown up and entered society, we want to make the world a better place and realize people's health and safety in this way with the power of pharmaceuticals. This is an expression of those goals and intentions.
