JPMA and the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) have produced educational materials for the general public to promote the proper use of medicines, under the supervision of Masahiro Akishita, Director of the Tokyo Metropolitan Geriatric Hospital and Gerontology Center, who is an expert on polypharmacy issues, and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan.
