JPMA and the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) and the Japan Council for the Proper Use of Drugs (JCPC) have produced educational materials for the general public to promote the proper use of medicines under the supervision of Masahiro Akishita, Director of the Tokyo Metropolitan Geriatric Hospital and Geriatric Hospital Center, who is an expert on the issue of polypharmacy, and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
