On September 25, 2021, a WHO Western Pacific Commission event "AMR, a Health Crisis - What we can do to learn from the novel coronavirus infection to counter the silent pandemic of drug resistance (AMR)" was organized by the AMR Alliance Japan and others and supported by the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PSAK).
