APAC Mission

APAC has been tackling various issues under the theme of "Access to Innovative Medicines (ATIM)" in order to realize its mission "to rapidly deliver innovative medicines to the people of Asia.
APAC is tackling its priorities one step at a time while contributing to the health of the people of Asia.

Since its establishment in 2012, APAC has provided a unique opportunity for regulators, academia, and industry to engage in constructive discussions on timely topics to improve "Access to Innovative Medicines" (ATIM) in Asia.
The APAC Working Groups and Task Forces on Drug Discovery Alliance (DA), Regulation and Approval (RA), and Manufacturing, Quality Control and Supply (MQS) are active and have achieved a high level of success in their efforts to promote country collaboration and regulatory harmonization.
Furthermore, in response to technological innovations and changes in the environment, we have begun to address each of these issues from an industry perspective by launching new thematic teams on "e-labeling" in 2020 and "Asia Universal Health Coverage (aUHC)" in 2021.
