The Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (Chairman: Yasushi Okada, hereinafter referred to as "JPMA") is pleased to announce the opening of its official Twitter account.
The JCIA is an industry organization of 73 R&D-oriented pharmaceutical companies, and is engaged in a wide range of activities such as solving problems common to the pharmaceutical industry, deepening understanding of pharmaceuticals and the industry, and international collaboration.
Since last year, the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) has been working to enhance its owned media (website and SNS) in order to provide the public with information on the pharmaceutical industry and the latest activities of the PMAJ in a timely manner. In September last year, we renewed our website () and have been considering the use of social networking services (SNS).
The official Twitter account opened this time will provide information on the activities of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) and the events it is developing. We are also considering opening official SNS accounts other than Twitter, and plan to plan public relations events that link the JCIA website with SNS development in the future.
