Announcement Regarding the Launch of the JPMA’s Official Twitter Account

The Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (Chairman: Yasufumi Okada; hereinafter “JPMA”) is pleased to announce the launch of its official Twitter account.
The JPMA is an industry association comprising 73 research-and-development-oriented pharmaceutical companies. It carries out a wide range of activities, including addressing common issues facing the pharmaceutical industry, promoting a deeper understanding of pharmaceuticals and the industry, and fostering international collaboration.
Since last year, the JPMA has been working to enhance its owned media (website and social media) in order to promptly convey information about the pharmaceutical industry and the JPMA’s latest activities to the general public. In September of last year, the JPMA relaunched its website (https://www.jpma.or.jp/) and has been exploring the use of social media.
Through our newly launched official Twitter account, we will share information about JPMA’s initiatives and upcoming events. We are also considering launching official accounts on social media platforms other than Twitter, and plan to organize public relations events that integrate our website with our social media presence in the future.
