Disciplinary Action Taken Against Member Companies

Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (Chairman: Yasushi Okada) announces the following disciplinary actions against the following two member companies.
ONO PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD. and Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., LTD. have been punished by administrative penalties under the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act (suspension of business operations in the manufacture and sale of pharmaceuticals), based on the results of deliberations by the Disposition Review Board and other relevant bodies. The decisions were made based on the results of deliberations by the Disposition Review Board and other relevant bodies.
This is a matter of deep regret, and we will make every effort to ensure thorough compliance by our member companies.
