Disciplinary Action Taken Against Member Companies

The Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (Chairman: Yasushi Okada) announces that it has taken the following actions against the following two member companies.
Ltd. and Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. have been punished by administrative penalties under the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act (suspension of business operations for the manufacture and sale of pharmaceuticals), based on the results of deliberations by the Disposition Review Board and other relevant bodies. The decisions were made based on the results of deliberations by the Disposition Review Board and other relevant bodies.
This is truly regrettable, and we will once again strive to ensure thorough compliance by our member companies.
