Disciplinary Action Taken Against Member Companies

The Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, Inc. (Chairman: Yasushi Okada) announces that it has issued the following disciplinary action against its member company, Meiji Seika Pharma Ltd. following an administrative disciplinary action (business improvement order due to partial falsification of application materials for approval, etc.) under the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act, etc., based on the deliberation results of the Disciplinary Action Review Committee We are pleased to report that we have taken the following actions based on the results of deliberations by the Disposition Review Board.
We deeply regret this matter and will once again make every effort to ensure compliance by our member companies.
