Information on "Summer Holiday Free Research Site" for Elementary and Junior High School Students

The Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) is pleased to announce that "Summer Vacation! (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuji Hirose), a free research theme related to the pharmaceutical industry, has been posted on Gakken Kids Net's "Summer Vacation!
The Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PAPJ) conducts a variety of activities to promote understanding of the R&D-based pharmaceutical industry among a wide range of stakeholders. As a part of these activities, we have been providing information in collaboration with Gakken Kids Net since 2010, with the aim of familiarizing young people, such as elementary and junior high school students, with the pharmaceutical industry and drugs.
This year, in the midst of the Corona Disaster, the theme of the film will focus on infectious diseases and the mechanisms by which the human body fights diseases, and the information will be disseminated.

In addition, the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) has launched the "Pharmaceuticals Research Institute" on its website to provide information on pharmaceuticals and the pharmaceutical industry to elementary and junior high school students. A banner link to the Gakken Kids Net site, "The Secret Secrets of Drugs" is also available for viewing.
The Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) will continue to actively provide information on the industry and pharmaceuticals in order to further promote understanding of the pharmaceutical industry among the public.

At the Pharmaceuticals Research Institute, visitors can learn the correct knowledge of drugs in five categories.

The target age groups are upper elementary school students and junior high school students. Kanji characters learned in the fifth grade of elementary school and above are read with kana, and easy-to-understand words are used to introduce the information in an appropriate volume.
