Disciplinary Action Against Member Companies

(Chairman: Yuzuru Nakayama) has issued the following disciplinary actions against its member companies, TORII PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD. and NIPPON CHEMIPHAR CO., LTD. on May 18, based on the results of deliberations by the Disciplinary Action Review Board, for violating Article 3 (prohibition of unreasonable restraint of trade) of the Act Concerning Prohibition of Private Monopolization and Maintenance of Fair Trade. Based on the results of the deliberations of the Disposition Review Board, we have taken the following actions as of May 18.
We sincerely regret this matter, and we will once again make every effort to ensure compliance by our member companies.
