The general public is highly interested in medical and health issues and obtains information from various sources, including the Internet, but some of this information lacks scientific basis. We hope that these materials will help the general public learn how to identify medical and health information in order to protect their own and their families' health.
In addition to being posted on each organization's website, this material will be distributed to Nichiyaku members through prefectural pharmacists associations and to readers of the e-mail magazine through the Council.

The three organizations, Nichiyaku, the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan, and the Council, launched the "Basic Knowledge of Drugs Awareness Conference" to produce this material.

Outline of the material - The key to identifying information is "Mi-ki-mi-ki

With the abundance of information on medicine and health, it is very dangerous to simply take information for granted. This material introduces what information should not be taken for granted and what kind of things you should be careful about. The material is designed to help the general public remember the three points to consider when discerning information: " see", " hear ", and " understand".

PowerPoint materials and flyers with scripts for use in public lectures, etc.

The materials are in PowerPoint format so that they can be viewed by the general public and used in public lectures by pharmacists and those involved in consumer education. The PowerPoint presentation includes exercises in which audience members can participate, and the notes section of the PowerPoint presentation includes a summary of each slide and a model script for easy use.
We have also prepared a single A4-size flyer for course participants to take home. We hope that it will be widely used in the future.
