Pharmaceutical Cooperative's Video Course for Early College Students Receives High Praise from Student Judges

Since September 2024, the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) has been offering a video course on "My CareerStudy," a career learning website for early college students operated by Mynavi, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Seikyo") has been publishing video lectures on "My CareerStudy," a career learning website for early college students operated by Mynavi Corporation, since September 2024.
The winning course, " Learn from Your Seniors! The Key to Choosing the Industry that Suits You " was created with the aim of conveying the social significance and appeal of the pharmaceutical industry to students considering their future careers. In this lecture, two young employees, one an MR and the other a researcher, talk about how they deepened their understanding of the industry and themselves through their experiences during their job hunting activities. The content of this lecture will provide an opportunity for many students, regardless of their backgrounds, to think about choosing the right industry for them.
The competition was judged by a "student judging panel" of university students and by "course evaluations" on the site. As a result, the course was selected as the third place winner, and we believe that this is a highly significant recognition of the course's objective of communicating the social role of the pharmaceutical industry and the appeal of various careers to students in an easy-to-understand manner.
Takeshi Tada, chairman of the Public Relations Committee of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan, said, "We will continue to provide easy-to-understand information to young people, including university students, as well as to the general public, while fostering relationships that will encourage them to want to support and contribute to the pharmaceutical industry. Based on this belief, the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) will continue to promote public relations activities to broaden and deepen understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
