The Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) is pleased to announce the second (FY2024) "Open Call for Researcher Support and Subsidy".

Based on the recommendations of the "Study Group on Extending Healthy Life Expectancy and Driving Economic Growth," which was formed with the participation of experts who are leading academic research on healthcare as a whole, the JCIA will promote interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research and provide support to young researchers, not limited to the field of pharmaceuticals, in order to help solve issues surrounding medicine, health and the pharmaceutical industry in Japan in the future. The purpose of this grant is to contribute to the development of research that will lead to the resolution of issues surrounding the medical, health, and pharmaceutical industries in Japan and to the accumulation of evidence for "extending healthy life expectancy" and "driving economic growth" through the promotion of interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research and support for young researchers, regardless of the field of pharmaceuticals.
