Topics About the Code Understanding Promotion Month in 2023
The Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) has designated November as the Month for Promoting Understanding of the PMAJ Code of Practice (the "PMAJ Code"), and the theme for 2023, as in 2021 and 2022, is "Meeting the expectations of society through sincere actions. The subtitle of this year's theme is "Everything we do, we do for the patients," as we recognize that patients and people who desire good health lie beyond the various corporate activities we engage in. Once again, member companies will work together to conduct internal inspections to ensure thorough compliance with the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) Code and the company's own code.
We will meet society's expectations through sincere actions - All for the sake of patients
We have created a "Month for Promoting Understanding of the Code" awareness poster and a digital version of the poster (desktop wallpaper image) *1 that can be used to describe the inspection items for 2023.
The posters were created with the image of "pharmaceutical company employees who think of patients and all people" in mind, as "patients," "medical professionals," and "people who wish for good health" lie beyond the company's activities. In addition, the design for 2023 was changed to a horizontal version.
Through the three years of the Corona Disaster, we have reaffirmed that society has high expectations for the activities of our pharmaceutical industry. We must respond to society's expectations and trust by creating further innovation and providing innovative value. To this end, we will comply with the Pharmaceutical Affairs Association Code in our daily activities and faithfully practice activities that aim even higher for patients.
