In January 2022, the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) opened an official Twitter account, which has been in operation since February.

The home page of the official Twitter account features a warm illustration of the cover of the "Pharmaceutical Association of Japan Guide 2021" and the catchphrase, "New drugs for everyone who wants to be healthy," to create an image of "being close to the health of the public. In September 2021, the website was renewed for the first time in 13 years, and we will continue to provide more timely information about the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) and communicate better with users.
The official Twitter account started posting on February 7, 2022. For the time being, posts will mainly focus on the activities of publicity measures being developed by the Public Relations Committee of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ). In addition to announcements and reports on the "Pharmaceutical Industry Experience Discovery Project" targeting students and young people, we will also introduce the "Digital Mook," a tie-up with the magazine media "Tokyo Graffiti," as well as the YouTube video "New Drug Innovation with Aoi, a Pharmaceutical Student" that promotes the value of new drug births. The three activities will be introduced through the "Digital Mook," a tie-up with Tokyo Graffiti magazine. For these three activities, we have set up a special page on the website of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) and will develop publicity to attract a large number of viewers to this page.
In addition, we are preparing to open official accounts for social networking services other than Twitter in order to begin full-scale operation of SNS-based communication in April. In addition to communicating the activities and initiatives of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) through its owned media, including its website, we will prepare contents and mechanisms to deepen understanding of the industry and expand means to disseminate information on the pharmaceutical industry and pharmaceutical products in a timely manner.
