Held "Regular Chairman's Press Conference
On January 16, 2018, the JPMA "Regular Chairman's Press Conference" was held at Nomura Conference Plaza Nihonbashi (Chuo-ku, Tokyo). At the press conference, JPMA Chairman Yoshihiko Hatanaka explained the "Basic Stance of the R&D-Based Pharmaceutical Industry," "The JPMA's Position on the Fundamental Reform of the NHI Drug Price System," and the "Status of the JPMA's Efforts on Priority Issues for FY2017" among other topics. About 50 members of the press attended the meeting and actively exchanged questions about the NHI drug price reform and other topics. The following is a summary of the meeting.
