Held the Regular Chairman's Press Conference.
On January 16, 2018, the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) held its "Regular Chairman's Press Conference" at Nomura Conference Plaza Nihonbashi (Chuo-ku, Tokyo). At the press conference, Yoshihiko Hatanaka, Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ), explained the "Basic Stance of the R&D-Based Pharmaceutical Industry" and "PMAJ's Approach to the Fundamental Reform of the NHI Drug Price System" as well as the "Status of the PMAJ's Initiatives on Priority Issues for Fiscal 2017". About 50 members of the press attended the meeting and actively exchanged questions about the NHI drug price reform and other issues. The following is a summary of the meeting.
