"Regular Chairman's Press Conference" Held
On January 17, 2017, the JPMA held its “Regular Chairman’s Press Conference” at the Nomura Conference Plaza Nihonbashi (Chuo Ward, Tokyo).At the press conference, Yoshihiko Hatanaka, Chairman of the JPMA, explained the JPMA’s basic stance and specific initiatives regarding “I. Creation and Evaluation of Drug Discovery Innovation,” “II. Toward Reform of the Drug Pricing System,” and “III. Promotion of Drug Discovery Innovation.”Seventy-two members of the press attended the press conference, and a lively question-and-answer session took place.
