The 16th Pharmaceutical Association of Japan Forum" was held.

The 16th Pharmaceutical Manufacturers' Association Forum was held on November 26, 2015 at Keidanren Kaikan (Otemachi, Tokyo) with the attendance of approximately 350 invited guests, including Diet members, government officials, related organizations, opinion leaders, patient groups, and members of the press. The forum is held annually at this time of the year to bring together leaders from various fields related to the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) and representatives of member companies to exchange views and opinions. This year, we invited Makoto Suematsu, President of the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED), to give a lecture on R&D in the medical field, from the basics to practical application.
