ICH Project Workshop on ICH E22 "General Considerations for Patient Preference Studies (Draft)"

The ICH E22 Expert Working Group (EWG) has continued its study to develop guidelines for ICH E22 "General Guidelines for Patient Preference Research". As a result, the draft ICH E22 guideline reached Step 2 as of November 19, 2025 and was published on the official ICH website. On January 19, 2026, ICH E22 "General Guidelines for Patient Preference Research (Draft)" was opened for public comments in Japan.
In order to promote understanding of the draft guideline and to support the collection of public comments, Workshop on ICH E22 "General Considerations for Patient Preference Studies (Draft)"will be held this time.
