The ATLAS project (Asian Clinical Trials Network for Cancers Project) is a project led by the National Cancer Center Hospital to establish a cancer clinical trials network in the Asian region. It was initiated with the support of AMED.
The ATLAS project has the following three pillars at the core of its activities, with the aim of establishing an international collaborative research network to promote the development of drugs and medical devices in the Asian region.

  1. International Joint Research: Conducting international joint research on pharmaceuticals and medical devices with the aim of obtaining regulatory approval and commercialization
  2. International Education Program: Providing educational content from Asia both online and on-site
  3. ATLAS Board: Establishment of a permanent international collaborative research group consisting of researchers from Asian countries
