In the results of a survey on the status of AI initiatives conducted among member companies in 2018, in addition to a shortage of AI-related human resources (including not only engineers who develop AI, but also those who can plan and propose AI applications), many respondents said that they do not know what AI can do in the first place. In addition, many respondents were not sure what AI can do in the first place.
This book is not intended for engineers who develop AI, but mainly for those in charge of introducing AI into business in the pharmaceutical industry and users who want to utilize AI-based services. What exactly can be done with AI at present or in the near future will be explained and introduced. This presentation will also be useful for those who are interested in AI development and would like to try it out.
