The Clinical Evaluation Committee of the Drug Evaluation Committee has been continuously surveying the clinical trial environment for member companies of the Clinical Evaluation Committee since FY2003. This time, the data collected over the past 10 years was integrated and various totals were compiled to examine trends over time, factors affecting cost, speed, etc., and future issues. We hope that by sharing information on trends, current conditions, and problems in the clinical trial environment, we can help to further improve the environment for clinical trials in the future.
