Drug Evaluation Committee Guidebook for Pharmaceutical Companies to Implement Activities Based on Patient Centricity (2022 Edition)

The Clinical Evaluation Subcommittee has been working on the theme of "Patient Centricity" since FY2016, with the aim of developing pharmaceuticals that advance together with patients. In FY2017, the third year of the project, we compiled the following report.
In FY 2018, the third year of the project, we prepared two reports to further promote the implementation of Patient Centricity-based activities in each company. The second report is a step-by-step report on how to communicate with patient groups based on the knowledge and experience gained by the task force so far.
Through the activities of the task force since the release of the two reports, we have identified specific challenges in working on Patient Centricity-based activities, as well as the specific interests of those in charge of the companies involved. In order to respond to those challenges and interests, we have prepared the 2022 edition of the "Guidebook for Pharmaceutical Companies to Implement Patient Centricity-based Activities".
The ultimate goal of the Task Force is the implementation of patient-centered drug development in all pharmaceutical companies, and we hope that the two guidebooks published in 2019 and this guidebook will help companies to implement Patient Centricity-based activities.
