Electronic Standard for Medical Information Expert Committee Task Force 3 considered that the current status of the dissemination of electronic patient information outcomes (ePROs) overseas would ensure their dissemination in Japan in the near future. In order to understand changes in the status of ePRO dissemination in Japan since the previous survey conducted in the previous fiscal year (2013), we re-administered the survey, introduced case studies of ePRO introduction, conducted price surveys of vendors handling ePRO in Japan, compared their prices with those of vendors overseas, conducted a literature review, and summarized the measures to promote the spread of ePRO in Japan The results of the survey are summarized as a set of measures to promote the spread of ePRO in Japan.
