Drug Evaluation Committee "How to Find Clinical Trials: Understanding jRCT" Educational Materials
Information on clinical trials, including the names of Investigator Sites, is publicly available on jRCT (Japan Registry of Clinical Trials: Clinical Research Submission and Disclosure System (mhlw.go.jp)). However, it cannot be said that patients, their families, and the general public seeking information on clinical trials are able to obtain sufficient information.
Therefore, we have created “How to Find Clinical Trials: A Guide to jRCT” as a resource to explain how to search for clinical trials on jRCT, how to view search results, and related information (the Clinical Research Information Portal, related websites, and a glossary of basic terms).
We have now created this awareness-raising material to encourage as many people as possible to make use of jRCT and “How to Find Clinical Trials: A Guide to jRCT.”We hope that by making these materials available to companies, organizations, medical institutions, and academic societies, we can help more people search for and access information on clinical trials. These materials can be used as appropriate for various purposes, such as distribution to patients and their families.
