Although there is an impression that the medium for providing information from pharmaceutical companies to patients via digital media has been changing in the changing environment, the actual situation with safety information is not clear. Therefore, we decided to conduct a questionnaire survey of companies belonging to the PV Committee of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ) from January to February 2023 to understand the current situation and issues.
This session summarized the current situation and expected direction from the results of the questionnaire regarding the provision of patient materials and information, from the perspectives of "information provision to patients digitally," "opinions from patients and healthcare professionals," and "posting of patient materials on the platform. The following is a summary of the current status and expected direction of the project.
