Under the VISION of "contributing to the safety and security of patients by establishing an ideal system for providing safety information from the viewpoints of patients and medical professionals and delivering necessary information," we are working to promote risk communication using DX.
We knew from multiple surveys that patients use the Internet to look up information on pharmaceuticals, but it was not clear what they do when they search and why they choose the information they do.
Therefore, in February 2024, we conducted a survey of patients and their families and compiled a preliminary report on the current status of obtaining drug information.
We hope that the information for patients will be helpful to each company to ensure that patients and their families receive and fully understand the content of the information.
A more detailed version, including disease-specific totals and discussion, will be published at a later date.
