The Data Science Subcommittee’s Task Force for Promoting the Use of eSources (such as Electronic Health Records) conducted a survey of companies registered with the Data Science Subcommittee to assess the current status of efforts to integrate data from electronic health records and EDC systems in clinical trials, and compiled the results into a report.
The first half of the report summarizes the main findings and discussions, while the second half summarizes the results and discussions for each question. Open-ended comments are included in the Appendix.
We hope this survey report will be useful to the many stakeholders involved in data integration between electronic medical records and EDC systems, and that it will help facilitate the adoption and widespread use of such systems.
