This report summarizes the expectations of pharmaceutical companies on how to utilize real world data (RWD), with a particular focus on the utilization of medical information databases (DB).
The report summarizes the current and expected future utilization of medical information DBs in the clinical development and post-marketing phases of pharmaceutical products.
We hope that this report will help to promote understanding of how medical information can be used in the development and post-marketing phases of pharmaceuticals and to broaden awareness of the usefulness of RWD as medical information DX is promoted in Japan.
