Compliance Program and Guideline of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan Revised on March 13, 2023
In 2001, the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) established the "JPMA Compliance Program Guidelines" as a guideline for its member companies to ensure that their executives and employees comply with laws and regulations.
Since then, the guidelines have been revised in 2004, 2011, and 2018.
In response to the revision of "Chapter 4: Respect for Human Rights" of the Keidanren Charter of Corporate Behavior (December 2021), the "Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan Compliance Program Guidelines" have been revised to reflect changes in the environment, including social trends such as revisions of laws and regulations and other norms since the last revision.
