Institute Overview
The Office of Pharmaceutical Industry Research （The Pharmaceuticals Research Institute of Japan (PRI) is a research organization that analyzes and examines the environment surrounding the pharmaceutical industry and medium- to long-term issues facing the industry, and makes recommendations.
Purpose of Research Activities
Through surveys, analysis, and research on the pharmaceutical industry, and by making recommendations on the results of these studies, the institute aims to contribute to the improvement and enhancement of the environment for the creation of innovative and highly useful new drugs, and to the sound development of the pharmaceutical industry.
