On August 28, 2019, at Pacifico Yokohama (Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture), Access Accelerated, in collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan (PMAJ), hosted the 7th Africa Development Conference (TICAD7) official side event titled "Accelerating Sustainable UHC by Improving Access to NCD Care". TICAD7", in collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Japan. The event shared the Partnership's work in combating non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in low- and middle-income countries and discussed future prospects.
