In Japan, the declining birthrate, aging population, and shrinking population are rapidly changing the structure of diseases, while the "100-year life period" has been proposed, and new wisdom is required to maintain the social security system. The goal is to create an "angel cycle" in which new drug innovation is the starting point for extending healthy life expectancy, increasing the working population and reducing social security costs and burdens, and the financial resources generated as a result of improved tax revenues are invested in new drug innovation.
