STOP AMR

News releases and updates related to AMR

What is the problem of drug-resistant (AMR) bacteria?

The number of drug-resistant bacteria that do not respond to drugs is currently increasing around the world.
The reason for this increase is that when antimicrobial agents prescribed by doctors and pharmacists are not taken as directed, pathogenic bacteria survive in the body and are reborn as drug-resistant bacteria that do not respond to conventional drugs. Drug-resistant bacteria are a global threat because they cause serious infections.
