In Japan, it is said that it takes about 9 to 16 years and a large amount of money to develop one new drug. Even so, the probability of a new drug being developed is only about 1 in 31,000*. During the development process, strict tests are conducted many times, and most of the candidate substances for new drugs are eliminated in these tests. Only those with proven efficacy, quality, and safety are approved and put on the market as drugs that can be used with peace of mind.
